CORONAVIRUS/COVID-19

On this wonderful sunny morning, we are very sad to announce that Lime Tree Park will be closing its gates for the (hopefully short) near future.

Lime Tree Holiday Park is temporarily closed

#StaySafe #StayAlert

As a supporter of our local area, we feel it is morally and socially the right course of action to follow the guidelines of the government and to discourage non-essential travel where we can. We feel responsible for the welfare of our wonderful guests and our incredible staff and feel that we must all do our bit to keep people safe.

As you are well aware, every year we want to give guests the best experience and memories of their stay here with us. Every year, we invest heavily throughout the winter period in order to keep improving and this winter was no exception. Closing our gates will be an incredibly huge financial hit for the business as the season has not yet even begun. However, we hope to emerge from this once the pandemic subsides – the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire will never change and I am sure we will appreciate it all the more once our freedom of movement is restored.

We will be phoning guests with bookings in March and April as a priority to discuss the transfer of bookings, don’t worry, we will call you. If your booking is later in the year, hopefully you will be able to come and visit . Any urgent queries, please email [email protected] in the first instance and we will respond as soon as we can.

Words cannot describe how devastating it is for us, to make this decision. We hope together, as one community, we can support each other through the coming weeks.

Please be safe,

Lime Tree 🌲 Team
